We're proud to present our first digital exhibition. John's work explores notions of material and immaterial through animated digital sculpture, fusing an archival aesthetic with a sharp, clean, technological edge both literal and metaphorical.

My work explores the tension between the material and immaterial and how this can be realised through animated digital sculpture. The creation of intricately detailed structures is used to absorb the viewer and as a result act as a catalyst for 'immersion'. The animation of the sculpture visualises the continual cycle of the object, fluctuating between immaterial and material states.
