What do you get if you cross 12 artists from a variety of artistic backgrounds with a selection of some of the sexiest graph paper around?
Hardcore 'Porno-Graphy' at Brass Gallery.
For this one-of-a-kind exhibition, The Brass Gallery curator Paddy Hartley invited 12 previous exhibitors, and a few new faces, to respond and interpret a graph paper of their choice in their own inimitable way.

There is something about graph paper that artists just find sexy (as far as stationery is concerned at least). From the school-days familiarity of Cartesian and the radian divisions of Polar Coordinates, to the three-dimensionality of Isometric and the outrageously elaborate Smith Chart, everyone has a favourite.
Everyone at Brass Gallery saw the work for the first time when we took delivery of the work the day before the opening - so the show was just as much of a surprise to us as it was for our visitors. A real treat!
