Brass raises £1,000 for The Haven with bra-art exhibition
Staff at Brass have teamed up with breast cancer support charity The Haven this month to create a ‘Bra-art exhibition’ to raise funds and awareness for the local Leeds based branch.
Over the last few weeks employees throughout the agency have been picking up their glitter, sequins and sewing needles to put their creative flair into decorating bras of all shapes and sizes. A five pound donation was made by the agency for every bra decorated and all entries are now being displayed in an exhibition at the agencies head office entrance.
With over 60 entries and additional contributions from clients and directors a total of £1000 was raised for The Haven.
Brass chief executive John Morgan said:
We are a creative bunch here at Brass, so we wanted to come up with something that would really enthuse and engage our staff, clients and visitors whilst raising awareness for breast cancer support services in Yorkshire.
The response we’ve had has been very uplifting and we now have a completed exhibition of weird and wonderful creations in our entrance for all to see in support of a great local cause.

It costs The Haven around £1,000 to provide our in depth programme of care for each person who walks through our door, which means the money raised by Brass will fund the whole programme for an individual, helping to transform their life as they try to cope with the impact of breast cancer.
