Tuesday, 28 September 2010

Brass and global law firm DLA Piper are joining forces to hold a lunchtime seminar on Thursday 30th September to present the latest developments in digital marketing to business leaders and marketers.

At the event, held at DLA Piper's offices in Leeds, Paul Mallett, Managing Partner at Brass and a leading expert in digital marketing, will set out the opportunities and challenges which all businesses face and how ignoring ever changing online developments could be detrimental to future business prospects.

People have never been so connected or able to connect so quickly

Taking examples from clients in financial services, FMCG and the public sector, Paul will look at methods to identify the online behaviour of target audiences and ways in which companies can develop a strategy to enable them to break into the customer's world. He will also focus on the tools available to monitor measure and evaluate the effectiveness of online client engagement strategies.

"The more enlightened businesses are refining their marketing and communications strategies to make the most of digital opportunities. Those who don't will be left behind."

Commenting on the up coming seminar Paul Mallett said, " People have never been so connected or able to connect so quickly, not just with each other but with key data that informs decision making. The more enlightened businesses recognise this and are refining their marketing and communications strategies to make the most of the opportunities. Those who don't will be left behind."

Chris Tulley, a Partner in the Intellectual and Technology team at DLA Piper in Leeds will focus on the legal challenges the digital world presents drawing on recent cases involving allegations of trademark infringement.

" The digital era has literally opened up a new world of opportunities to businesses - allowing companies to access new customers all over the world, via the internet. But trade without geographic boundaries also opens up a world's worth of intellectual property and trademark regulations that businesses need to be aware of if they want to avoid trouble" said Chris Tulley.

A few places still remain so if you are interested in attending please contact Lisa Wisniowski at Brass on 0113 230 4000 or hello@brassagency.com
