MRS Fashion & Beauty gig
Brass graced the MRS Fashion & Beauty conference with flair and style. Sam Toon, Research Account Director, presented fresh
insight on how the fashion industry is taking inspiration from digital and social media to direct high street design.
This research, commissioned specifically for the MRS conference, used the new Brass
social media influencer tool. The paper demonstrated how high street fashion retailers can forge relationships with key fashion influencers: understanding their motivations, their conversations and where they're drawing inspiration from. Moreover, the findings highlighted how the most influential online activists can be identified, providing a target list for brand communications and media relations.
Sam Toon in her address to fashion industry delegates commented on her work, "In an era where we are ever more connected, brands are taking a democratic approach to reach and influence audiences. Our tools show exactly how this can be done: quickly, effectively and in a way in which the results can be used practically by brand teams".
