An in-depth research survey carried out by Brass for the Yorkshire Post (sponsored by Irwin Mitchell), amongst 200 CEOs and business owners across Yorkshire and the Humber has really got people talking.
Carried out right after the general election in May, the Yorkshire Post Business Barometer sought opinions on economic prospects for the next 18 months, the election result, what the Coaltion government needs to do to support business and how the region stacks up as a place to do business in the future.
A round table of leading business people and politicians discussed the findings, which were reported in the Yorkshire Post Business pages. What will replace Yorkshire Forward, what the Coalition government needs to do to get the manufacturing industry back on its feet and how the region' s connectivity is falling short were all covered, with some strong views expressed.
